All restoration and conservation at CAG is entrusted to the experienced hands of Mr. Boyle.
Mr. Boyle is a classically trained artist who recieved his Bachelors of Fine Arts with emphasis on painting and sculpture from the Art Academy of Cincinnati (chartered member of the NASAD) in 1987. His post-graduate work was completed at the University of Cincinnati.
His professional career in art restoration and conservation began at Closson's Art Gallery / A.B. Closson Jr. Co. where he rose to Head Conservator. Over the next 25 years, he would head the Art Conservation and Restoration department at Cincinnati Art Galleries and form Collector's Art Group where he serves as President and head of restoration and conservation.

A number of paintings restored/conserved by Mr. Boyle have now joined the revered works displayed in the Cincinnati Wing at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Indeed, Mr. Boyle has developed a reputation as one of the premier art conservators in Cincinnati, and his specialty in 20th century American paintings has brought him the work of some of the great Cincinnati painters including:
